About Us
Since 1876, the American Chemical Society has supported the scientific training and efforts of chemists across the United States. It is the largest professional scientific society in the world, with over 250,000 members.
We encourage all members of the UW-Madison ACS chapter to also register as members with the national ACS. The membership fee is subsidized for undergraduate students, but national membership is not a requirement for membership or attendance with the UW-Madison ACS chapter.
