From socials, to philanthropy events, to professional development opportunities, and much more, we have event options for everyone. Our sisterhood does not stop at official events. Sisters often accompany each other to Badger games, study sessions, spontaneous lunches, and just fun get-togethers. All members are always willing to lend a hand and support each other, regardless of what is needed. Our chapter continues to grow each semester. Alpha Omega Epsilon holds recruitment in the Fall and Spring semesters. Our chapter puts on a wide variety of fun recruitment events over the span of many days. Alpha Sigma Phi is not interested in only becoming the fraternity of choice, for this perspective unnecessarily narrows our recruitment efforts to those inclined to go Greek. We instead, will be focused on appealing to a broader base of undergraduate men, thereby competing directly with other activities and organizations on today’s campuses. By so doing, we help to ensure that we attract and recruit the very best and brightest undergraduate men.

We have chosen to define our Fraternity as a co-curricular organization to underscore our desire to partner with the institutions which host our chapters in their endeavor to prepare their students for success after college.

Relevant, Replicable, and Recognizable: organizationally, we cannot reach our vision if the products and services we offer are not relevant to our customers, replicable across chapters and across time and recognizable as ours so as to be discernible from our competition. These “Three Rs” will become the litmus test against which we will allocate resources in the months and years to come.

Phi Kappa Sigma is more than an organization to be a part of during college; it is a valuable learning experience, a life-long commitment, and philosophy of life. Along with the Phi Kappa Sigma Ritual, our Purpose and Principles state who and what we are as a Fraternity and as members of that Fraternity. All members take an oath to uphold these ideals and it is up to all of us to make sure that we, and those who come after us, learn and understand what it is to be a true “Phi Kap” and “Man of Honor” and incorporate that into our Chapters and into our lives.

SigEp's mission is "Building Balanced Men." Our Cardinal Principles are Virtue, Diligence & Brotherly Love. We envision a new generation of men who lead with purpose and strong personal values, develop a sound mind and sound body through healthy, disciplined habits, and fulfill their potential through lifelong relationships.

Membership Benefits
SigEp revolutionized the fraternity movement in 1991 by unveiling the Balanced Man Program (BMP), a concept of single-tiered membership and continuous development that begins the day a brother joins. SigEp believes the stereotypical fraternity experience does not fulfill the needs of today’s college male. The BMP offers an experience focused on scholarship, leadership, professional development and life skills. Members learn to live their best lives through unique, rewarding programming tailored to fit their needs and prepare them for the journey of life ahead.
