Parent Organization: University of Wisconsin - Madison
FIMRC – UW Madison is a student organization run by undergraduate students from the University of Wisconsin--Madison. Our chapter's goal is to bring together a group of motivated students interested in helping the underserved and underprivileged children and mothers in developing countries to receive the medical care they need. We hold fundraisers and medical supply drives in order to benefit our international clinics. We are also actively involved in helping the children in our own community by volunteering. We also aim to spread awareness in the need for better healthcare in underserved countries and encourage students here on campus to get involved with our purpose.
Membership Requirements (for example GPA requirements, membership fees)
Open-mindedness and passion to help children. Membership fees are $10/semester or $15/annually. To attain active membership status, one must attend two or more events in all three categories--volunteering, fundraising, and social--and all biweekly general assembly meetings (with two excused absences available).
Which of these most accurately describes the student membership of your organization (not including non-student members)?
