The mission of Molecular Biology Student Association (MBSA) is to provide undergraduate students at UW-Madison with opportunities to expand their scientific knowledge, prepare for potential careers relating to the subject matter, and serve the community by making known the importance of science, as well as to provide tools to assist in learning during their time at UW-Madison. These goals will be attained through guest speakers involved in research in the field, volunteer and fundraising projects, and potential opportunities to get involved on campus with research based experience.

Members must be UW-Madison undergraduate students interested in Molecular Biology, remain in good academic standing at the university (not on probation), pay dues ($10 for semester, $15 for academic year) by the set deadline, and earn 4 attendance points through attending meetings, events, and socials over the course of the semester to be considered an active member.
