American Meteorological Society, UW-Madison Chapter

The American Meteorological Society, UW-Madison chapter, works to connect undergraduates interested in weather and climate sciences. Students who are considering or are currently studying Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the university are heavily encouraged to participate, but participation is open to all students interested in the associated topics. We engage with our undergraduate community through a variety of events throughout the academic school year by hosting field professional, alumni, professor, and graduate student talks, hosting social events such as the Rooftop Party and annual department-wide Solstice Party, and providing information about professional development workshops in the greater Madison area and virtually.
