Badger Diabetes Advocates

Founded in 2011, the Badger Diabetes Advocates are dedicated to fostering a sense of community for college students affected by type one diabetes. BDA is committed to raising awareness and spreading knowledge about type one diabetes and type one diabetes research, while fundraising and donating contributions to JDRF and other organizations helping find a cure for type one diabetes. BDA is the first student-led organization at UW-Madison to pave the way for college students affected by type one diabetes and strives to serve as a support system/platform for student-led chronic disease advocacy.
