Parent Organization: University of Wisconsin - Madison

Energy Hub is a student-run organization through which UW-Madison students can explore and discuss the future of energy. We exist to connect students and student organizations that have an active interest in energy issues. By linking organizations with a common focus, we hope to make energy events and information more accessible to students, and provide a forum for open discussion of energy issues. We also aim to connect the student body with professionals in the energy industry, encouraging communication between academics and industry and informing students about potential energy-related career opportunities. To achieve our mission, we host an annual conference to explore a particular dimension of energy. Students can register to attend this conferece free of charge. We host a variety of speaker events featuring experts in many energy-related areas, offering technical, economic, and political perspectives. We also hold outreach presentations to improve energy literacy amongst elementary school students, and we tour various energy facilities.
