About
Amidst the stresses of medical school, maintaining a health mind, body and spirit is essential. What better way to relinquish daily stressors than by playing soccer? The Future Physicians Futbol Club (FPFC, Soccer Interest Group), through the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (UWSMPH), is an organization that strives to bring students together during weekly games of pick-up style soccer. Games are typically played each Friday at the University Bay Fields at around 5pm (after class), weather permitting. Games are semi-competative, but just for fun. Open to people that haven’t played since preschool all the way up to those that see themselves comparable to Alex Morgan or Lionel Messi. Other soccer-related events and social gatherings are also organized via this group.
