Parent Organization: University of Wisconsin - Madison

Started in San Francisco in the late 90s, and brought to UW in the early 2000s, SAS has evolved at UW-Madison as a social justice art activism platform for and by students from diverse backgrounds with intersectional feminism as our guiding framework. SAS offers students creative writing workshops, training in theater arts, and the chance to participate in our annual campus production of Yoni Ki Baat: Intersectional Stories from Womxn of Color.
