About Us
Chem E Car is a competition team centered around building a car that is powered by a propulsion mechanism and starts and stops via a stopping mechanism. Our team is divided into multiple subgroups: Battery, Timing, Electrical, Chassis, and Research. Each subgroup has the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of engineering disciplines and see it all come together at the regional competition every year. But we are so much more! The team is a community of friends driven to achieve bigger and better things and we connect more with each other at socials outside of regular meetings. We hope to continue to grow and welcome any and all majors!
