The research team is the R&D department of ChemE Car. We take in the ideas and design proposals from the other teams and determine how to implement them on the car. When a new actuator is needed, we research solutions and find a way to integrate it, while managing new design challenges and ensuring compliance with competition rules. Additionally, the research team is leading the charge in creating a second, gas pressure-powered competition car.
